Synopsis:
Alan Partridge gets caught up in an armed siege in his hilariously actiontastic first feature film. As Norwich's favourite off-peak digital radio broadcaster and former Toblerone addict, Alan Partridge (Steve Coogan) has had enough amazing experiences to fill a book. Unfortunately, that book, 'Bouncing Back', was remaindered and pulped. But now this regional icon of the smart-casual look faces his biggest challenge. North Norfolk Digital is taken over by a huge conglomerate and rebranded as Shape radio. Sacked breakfast DJ Pat Farrell (Colm Meaney) promptly goes postal with a shotgun and it's up to Alan to resolve the rapidly escalating hostage situation. The eagerly anticipated big screen debut of Steve Coogan's greatest comic creation has 'Father Ted' director Declan Lowney behind the camera. All the Partridge regulars are along for the ride, including Alan's long-suffering assistant Lynn (Felicity Montagu), Geordie chum Michael (Simon Greenall) and rival DJ Dave Clifton (Phil Cornwell).

Director: Declan Lowney
